President, Orlando Sutton

A native of eastern North Carolina, Orlando Sutton is president of the Beaux Affair rites of passage program. He retired from the federal government after 35 years with tours in the USDA Forest Service, the Soil and Water Conservation Service, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

President Sutton is married to Dianne Tindal-Sutton of North Charleston and they have 3 adult children, Patrick, Courtland, and Yorrick. He is a member of Friendship AME Church in Mt. Pleasant, SC where he enjoys serving and working for Jesus Christ and singing in the male choir.

Since retiring, President Sutton also spends his time working as a realtor, serving as a high school and recreation official and managing his own businesses, the Sports Official Association and MidTowne Maintenance Lawn Care and Services LLC, Inc..

A member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, President Sutton earned his bachelor of science degree in Agricultural Engineering with a concentration in agriculture and soil & water resources from North Carolina A&T State University
