The Beaux Affair program runs annually August through March. This nine month ‘rites of passage’ is a mentoring and leadership development program for high school juniors and seniors in the Tri-County area.
Candidates attend current events and participate in community service projects. The core education takes place in three-hour workshops, like the one shown here, every other Sunday afternoon. They cover a variety of topics and provide an excellent setting for learning together and brotherhood formation. Credentialed and licensed subject matter experts who are leaders in the Tri-County area lead all workshops.
Discussions include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing for College
- Etiquette
- Dress for Success
- Public Speaking and Debating
- Social Skills
- Leadership Development
- Conflict Resolution
- Drug, Alcohol and Tobacco Use Awareness
- Entrepreneurship
- Financial Planning
